Jim Feuerstein
Since the age of 18, Radio was definitely THE career for me. The medium fascinated me as a young teen but when I arrived at St. Bonaventure University and discovered the campus radio station, it fully consumed me. Naturally, I started as a small market disc jockey, first in Ottawa, OH, then Elmira, NY, finally returning home to Rochester, NY… working formats as varied as Adult Contemporary, Top 40, Oldies, Country, and finally Urban Contemporary in a professional career that spanned almost 29 years.
I never imagined I would leave the only career I ever wanted, but in early 2015 I accepted a position in retail management. That went about as well as you would expect, so by 2017 I was off to (hopefully) my last career in corporate training as a Content Development Manager. However I still have the passion to create marketing messages, and perform voice-over work (a bit of which I do for my current employer) and even long for a return to the airwaves as a freelance/contract announcer/disc jockey — and I offer that passion to you and your organization. Please listen to my samples and see how I can help you!
